Established in 1972 as the Canine Hilton, SkyBlue Kennels is one of the longest running pet boarding facilities in Austin with 50 years of providing premium pet care. At SkyBlue, we simply love dogs and treat them as our own while in our care. We want you to know that when you're away on a trip or simply dropping your dog off for the day, your beloved pets are in the best care.
SkyBlue Kennels is located just east of Highway 183 on FM 969 (E. MLK). The total property consists of 6 acres in a quiet, serene environment despite its proximity to central Austin. We also have a resident living in the house on the property, for extra peace of mind.
SkyBlue offers overnight boarding 365 days a year as your dog’s home away from home.

At SkyBlue, we believe every dog deserves a safe, loving place to stay. Unlike many kennels in Austin, we welcome pups who may not socialize well with other dogs, as long as they are friendly with our staff. We also happily accept all breeds and sizes, we do not discriminate.
Our individualized approach means each dog gets personalized care suited to their temperament and comfort level. With our unique setup and attentive team, we're able to accommodate many dogs who simply need a little extra understanding, space, or one-on-one attention.
